Dr. Mark Airon P. Creus, Principal IV of GFMINHS led a meeting on the implementation of the Devereux Student Strengths Assessment (DESSA), which aims to fortify the program members’ ability to identify which social emotional skills of the learners have already learned and what skills they might still need to develop.

The said meeting was participated by focal persons by grade level, and DESSA coordinator designate, Miss Roxette B. Monton, which serve as key personnel in assessing the students’ skills.

Dr. Creus also oriented the learning facilitators on the procedures for administering the DESSA, identifying appropriate respondents, and how to gather data. With the implementation of the said assessment, this will recognize the strengths and designing activities that further develop the students’ social-emotional competencies.
