In support of the 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 (𝐎𝐇𝐒𝐒) 𝐀𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐜𝐭 𝐍𝐨. 𝟏𝟎𝟔𝟔𝟓, which institutionalizes an alternative secondary education program that provides flexible learning opportunities for learners who are unable to attend regular high school due to geographical, socioeconomic, physical, or personal constraints, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐀𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐏. 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐮𝐬, Principal IV, conducted a monitoring activity at 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 (𝐆𝐅𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐇𝐒) on 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟐𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.
The monitoring aimed to ensure the effective implementation of the Open High School Program (OHSP) and the proper utilization of school resources, including the Library, in support of students’ learning needs.
As part of the program’s implementation, face-to-face learning sessions are conducted every Saturday on a rotating schedule, with Grade 7 attending on the first Saturday of the month, Grade 8 on the second Saturday, and the succeeding grade levels on the following Saturdays.
Through this initiative, GFMINHS reaffirms its commitment to providing accessible, inclusive, and quality education by ensuring that the Open High School Program is effectively implemented and that available learning resources are maximized to support student success.
