To strengthen learner support services and enhance case management processes, the 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 (𝐋𝐅𝐎) 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 was held at 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 (𝐆𝐅𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐇𝐒) earlier today, 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟏𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, at the school library. The meeting was presided over by the School Principal, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐀𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐏. 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐮𝐬, and attended by all Learner Formation Officers.
The meeting covered several key operational matters, including the desk duty assignment of LFO members, the establishment of the LFO Record Log, the review of pertinent LFO forms, and the request for essential office supplies, among other initiatives aimed at strengthening the office’s operations.
One of the meeting’s highlights was the discussion on the respective jurisdictions of the Learner Formation Office (LFO) and the School Discipline Committee (SDC), particularly on learner cases that may fall under the jurisdiction of both offices. Dr. Creus emphasized the importance of clearly defining the roles and responsibilities of each office to ensure proper case referral, effective coordination, and appropriate interventions for learners.
The discussion was led by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜 𝐅. 𝐆𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨, Teacher I and Learner Formation Officer, together with Dr. Creus, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Also present were 𝐌𝐬. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐥 𝐂. 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐫𝐨, Head Teacher VI of the Values Education Department, and 𝐌𝐬. 𝐉𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐆. 𝐋𝐚𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚, Head Teacher VI of the Araling Panlipunan Department, representing the School Discipline Committee during the deliberations.
As part of his commitment to strengthening learner support services, Dr. Creus designated an office for the Learner Formation Office and committed to providing an air-conditioning unit and the necessary office supplies to further support its operations.
The successful meeting reinforced GFMINHS’s commitment to strengthening learner support systems through collaboration, effective case management, and the continuous improvement of services that promote learners’ well-being, discipline, and holistic development.
